A first tattoo is a big step! Often accompanied by stress and questions, I strongly encourage you to come for a consultation at the studio to break the ice, meet and answer your questions.
Pain tolerance is individual and varies according to the location chosen. I describe it as a mixture between a scratch and a superficial burn (note that this is the sensation I feel, it may take on a different definition for others).
To help you overcome this discomfort, I suggest you read the Get ready category.

Yes.
Covering projects very often require a consultation at the studio to clearly explain what is involved in terms of design, dimensions, contrasts...
If the tattoo to be covered or the last laser session is fresh, I recommend waiting between 6 months and a year, so as not to further traumatize the skin and allow it to heal.
-
Policies vary from studio to studio. As far as I'm concerned, you have to be at least 18 years old.
-
We strongly advise against tattooing during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
Tattooing involves breaking down the skin barrier and can therefore entail risks of infection, not without danger to baby's health.
-
Unless there are medical contraindications, it's possible to tattoo on scars and stretch marks. However, I recommend that they be at least 6 months/one year old. Scar tissue is more sensitive and, depending on the nature of the scar, it's better to wait longer.
A studio consultation may be required to determine what would be most appropriate.
-
It's best to have a healthy immune system, as the healing process will require a lot of effort from your body.
What's more, it's a good idea not to spread germs around the studio, at the risk of other people getting sick.
Warning me and wearing a mask may be a good compromise (depending on the severity of your condition).
-
I'd like to stress that a tattoo is your decision.
It's a moment, an experience that belongs to you, and it's important to live it for yourself.
Therefore, I prefer you to come alone to your appointment.
-
We're in the same service category as the hairdressing and beauty professions. If you enjoyed your experience, it's up to you.
-
Consultations are free of charge.
However, it is appreciated if you let me know if you change your mind or wish to reschedule. Failing to show up for an appointment without warning and ignoring reminders will cancel our collaboration.
-
First touch-ups (if necessary) are included in the price of your tattoo and must be done within 6 months of the initial appointment.
Modifications or additions to a tattoo are not considered touch-ups.
